Connected flow detection
ProtoVid finds all prototype connections on the current Figma page and shows the detected frame order before you export. You review the path, not guess it.
Figma Plugin · Product Demo Video & Review
ProtoVid is a Figma plugin that detects connected prototype flows and exports them as MP4, WebM, or GIF product demo videos — no screen recording, no editing timeline, and optional browser-based review rooms for stakeholder feedback and approval.
ProtoVid is a Figma Community plugin that reads the prototype connections you already defined, follows the connected path, and exports a clean video file. You do not need to set up a screen recorder, an external camera, or a separate video editor. The plugin handles detection, rendering, and encoding inside Figma. For client-facing or stakeholder delivery, Pro users can generate a shareable browser link with a local decision brief, timestamped comments, and an approve or request-changes workflow — all without giving reviewers access to the Figma file.

Choose the format that fits the channel: MP4 (H.264) for most uses, WebM for web-native delivery, GIF for lightweight previews or Slack posts.
Free exports are watermarked 720p proofs. Project Pass and Pro unlock 1080p and 4K without the ProtoVid watermark.
Send a single browser link. Reviewers watch the demo, leave timestamped comments, and set approve or request-changes status — no Figma account needed.
ProtoVid generates a review context brief from export metadata and review-room activity without a separate AI account or external model connection.
Private owner links show view count, flow size, comment count, and approval state for each exported walkthrough.
Open ProtoVid inside Figma. The plugin reads the connections in the Prototype panel and shows the frames in the order a viewer would see them.
Review the detected flow, choose MP4, WebM, or GIF, then select 720p Free or 1080p / 4K paid quality. Adjust frame timing if needed.
Download the demo file. Optionally create a browser review room with a decision brief, timestamped comment thread, and an approve or request-changes control.
Send a clean walkthrough for a milestone review without giving clients access to the Figma file or asking them to navigate an interactive prototype.
Export a 1080p or 4K video timed to your prototype flow for App Store listings, product landing pages, and launch announcements.
Show the product experience on a marketing page without a live integration or recorded screen session.
Export a GIF or MP4 sized for social previews, Twitter / X posts, LinkedIn carousels, or Product Hunt launch assets.
Embed a clean prototype walkthrough in a portfolio or case study without a screen recorder or video editor.
Include a focused demo in a deck or async update so stakeholders can watch and comment on their own schedule.
Screen recording picks up cursor movement, timing inconsistencies, accidental clicks, and whatever else is visible on screen. ProtoVid captures only the connected prototype path at the resolution you choose, without a cursor or recording setup.
Requires setup, a clean run, post-editing to cut mistakes, cursor removal, and manual export. Output quality depends on display resolution and recording settings.
Reads the prototype path directly, renders each frame at the resolution you select, and exports a clean file — no cursor, no editing, no re-takes.
A product demo that ships in two minutes is more useful than a screen recording that ships in two hours — or never.
